Bio

Micha was educated at Oxford and Berkeley. He received his D.Phil. from Oxford in 2014. Before coming to the Hebrew University in 2022, he taught Renaissance literature at several colleges at Oxford and Cambridge. He spent 2015-2019 as Research Fellow at Trinity College, Cambridge, and then two years as a Fellow of the Warburg Institute in London.

Micha has held visiting fellowships at the Harry Ransom Center, Dumbarton Oaks, the Renaissance Society of America, the Folger Shakespeare Library, and the Herzog August Bibliothek. His work in book history has been awarded the Gordon Duff Prize at both Oxford and Cambridge. He has been elected Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries (UK).

Micha is also a member of the Bar of England & Wales. In 2024-2025 he will be a pupil barrister at One Essex Court.
